8 Anime Shows About Insecurity And Personal Growth

3) My Hero Academia

One of the most popular anime out there, My Hero Academia is based in a world where everyone is born with a superpower but one exception is Izuku Midoriya. Despite having no superpowers, he enrolls himself in the prestigious Hero University, where all the best superheroes are.

The anime follows his journey as he makes friends and foes in the university. There are some adorable characters for whom you will root for as well as some annoying characters who will try to bring our hero and his friends down by being mean.

The anime tries to tell us that superheroes despite having superpowers are still vulnerable like us; they have insecurities like us. Personal growth is not just meant for the ordinary but also the extraordinary.
